The prestigious UL Category Code DTOV2 homologation was recently added for Durpol products series 9 embossed in grey (RAL 7035).

UL (Underwriters Laboratories) is an American company that, thanks to its important independent laboratory, has been working for over 100 years on the safety and certification of products destined for use in the electronic and electro technical field and, through its international network, operates on a national level, certifying finished products and the entire series of components used in their manufacture.

Fael Security Srl, through his trusted supplier, obtained the prestigious approval from UL for his Durpol® Series 9 Grey embossed products.

The new homologation certifies the special corrosion protection capabilities of the coatings, which, when included in suitable coating cycles, must be able to provide certified quality to UL Standard 1332 (Organic Coating for Steel Electrical Panels for Interior/Exterior Use).

On request, Fael Security Srl can formulate approved powder coatings in all shades of grey in accordance with the UL norm and produce according to the stringent regulations and control parameters defined by the norm.

The awarding of this homologation expands the possibility of using paints for finished products destined for global export.

This new homologation has three meanings:

• it is important because it represents the overcoming of a limit;
• it is extremely important because it means a widening of the possibilities for the use of paints for components and/or finished products destined for global export;
