Antimicrobial8 is a powder coating from the Durpol series with a very high antibacterial efficacy uniformly distributed throughout the entire thickness of the coating. This characteristic derives from the presence in the formulation of an antibacterial agent, of an inorganic type, with silver ions with a broad spectrum of activity; the presence of this antibacterial agent determines a slow and constant release of silver ions over time. The use of Antimicrobial8 is suitable and advisable for all those articles in which the abatement and control of bacterial proliferation is of fundamental importance. This type of antibacterial coating is suitable for a wide range of applications and is generally used in hygiene-sensitive environments such as hospitals, clinics, changing rooms and schools.
